For finished manuscripts. Through conducting a free sample edit of the first 3 pages and reading over a questionnaire the writer fills out, we will determine what type of editing your manuscript needs.
*Rates are calculated off word count / page count and are influenced by genre, combinations of the following editing needs, and time constraints.

Line edit ($0.01–0.05 per word)
- Correcting punctuation
- Correcting grammar
- Fixing word choice
- Fixing misspelled words
- Address verb tense changes

Copyedit ($0.05–0.10 per word)
- Clarifying sentences or info
- Condensing info
- Strengthening writing style
- Addressing inconsistencies
- Rearranging sentences
- Cutting repeated / obvious info
- Weak verbs into strong, specific verbs
Developmental edit ($45–65 per hour)
- “Telling” into “showing”
- “Passive voice” into “active voice”
- Rearranging information
- Adding missing info (details/research)
